N-Trance

With international number 1 hits in Australia, Canada, South Africa and New Zealand, the biggest selling dance record of 1995 under their belts and over 6 million record sales worldwide and striking number one on the dance charts almost everywhere.  It’s no surprise that double platinum selling band  N-Trance still reign supreme on the dance floor whenever the thunder rolls…

The iconic anthem ‘Set You Free’ has been setting dance floors on fire since 1992, even more so today than it ever did, evidenced by N-Trance’s ever busy tour schedule.  N-Trance’s legendary music mastermind  Junior K  delivers a fully charged DJ set  proving time and time again why N-Trance are absolute  masters of their genre and why they are still bringing the music to the masses. Touring worldwide, Junior K takes dance music to electrifying altitudes …it’s time to get raw with the fever on da dance floor…

Rock The 90s - Enchantica's Summer Fest

Rock the 90s

Rock the 90s are a professional 5-piece 90s tribute band who merge 90s Dance/Rave, Britpop, Pop and RnB tunes. Their 90s sets delivers a unique blend of 90s dance, Britpop and chart tunes guaranteed to bring back those ‘old school’ 90s vibes.

You can expect epic guitars solos, anthemic synthesizers, grooving bass/drums/electronic percussion, MC breaks and vocal harmonies.

Rock the 90s have shared the bill with 90s legends Judge Jules, Artful Dodger, Danny Rampling, Five, Liberty X, S Club 7, K Klass, Ultrabeat and N Trance. They have performed live on stage backing 90s house diva Angie brown and the ‘Queen of Rave’ Rozalla ‘bringing back the rave’ to Glastonbury, Victorious, Big Chill, Secret Garden Party & Godiva festivals.

DJ Rory Hoy

Rory Hoy

Rory Hoy is a multi-award winning music producer/DJ, author and film maker. He has released 8 albums on various worldwide labels and hundreds of singles, EPs, remixes and collaborations.

He has DJ-ed at many major festivals in the UK including Leeds Festival, Tour de France and Deer Shed Festival for the last 7 years.  He’s supported Craig Charles on his Funk & Soul tours and Craig plays his tracks regularly on his BBC6 Music Shows.

He’s been on British and American TV, Radio and Press a number of times and has seen praise from artists such as Paul McCartney, Fatboy Slim, Craig Charles and others. His tracks have been used as syncs for the likes of Disney, Google, Sony BET TV, ITV, Costco, Buzzfeed Yellow, Google, FOX TV, Audi, AMC+, Netflix and Apple TV +.

DJ Dent

Jacob Dent's passion for music started from an early age, however his first experience of DJing was back in 2008, when he stepped in to help out at a local school after it had been let down by a professional DJ. The thrill of entertaining that first crowd, however small, got him hooked!

In 2013, he was awarded by York Press as ‘Fledgling Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the annual Business awards for the success of the venture (DJ Dent Disco Services).

In 2015, DJ Dent went international, performing in Bars, Nightclubs and Pool parties in resorts across Turkey and October 2021 saw him as a Grand Finalist in the prestigious Fibre DJ Competition.

Fundraising

Enchantica’s Summer Fest was born out of a desire to raise more funds for as many local schools and learning organisations as we possibly can. We’re passionate about helping all children be able to shine bright, which is why a proportion of all ticket sales will be donated to participating local schools and learning organisations, along with proceeds from the fundraising activity stalls running in the afternoon.

Summer Fest 2023 is supporting 31 local schools* and learning organisations this year. You’ll be able to select which school you’d like your ticket purchase to support during checkout, or you can choose to support all schools and we’ll split your ticket funds equally.

*Schools were nominated locally by parents via a request for nominations in the local press. Nominations are now closed for 2023.

FAQs - At the festival

Summer Fest is an all-day festival with lots going on throughout the day.

From 12pm until 5pm, there’ll be lots of games and activities at our fundraising stalls, along with circus skills, swing ball, soft play for pre-schoolers, a bungee trampoline, a graffiti wall, and some fun and games on the stage to keep you entertained.

From 5pm onwards, the main music starts with our line up of DJs and bands serving you 90s music through until 10pm.

The fundraising stalls are hosted by local schools, learning organisations and sponsor businesses and will be providing lots of fun games and activities to keep you entertained throughout the afternoon.

To take part in any of the games, you will need to purchase tokens from our Token Stand. Tokens will be 50p each and the number of tokens per game or activity will vary.

All monies spent on tokens used at fundraising stalls will be split equally between all participating schools and learning organisations.

Enchantica’s Summer Fest was put together with the aim of fundraising for local schools and learning organisations in order to support children’s education and well-being.

So, as well as being a cracking day and night of fun and partying, we’ll be sending some much needed funds to all the schools and learning organisations featured above.

This includes £5 / £2 / £10 from every adult/ child / family ticket sold, plus all monies spent on tokens used to pay for fundraising stall activities at the event.

Our fundraising token stand will be accepting card payments only. Food stands and the bar will also be accepting card payments but we suggest you bring along a small amount of cash if needed.

Cash machines are available in the centre of Knaresborough approx. 15 minutes walk from the festival site.

All the stage entertainment is free and included in your ticket, as well as many of the kids activities including circus skills, face painting, swingball and softplay.

Other activities run by our fundraising stands are via our token scheme with tokens at just 50p each.

The bungee trampoline will be extra, as will any food or drink you wish to purchase from our food trucks or bar. You may of course bring your own picnic and soft drinks – see below for more information.

So whatever your budget, you’re sure to have a fantastic day of family fun and high-vibing 90s entertainment!
