Learn how to manage difficult emotions, how to bring your own ideas to life and everyone develops lots of confidence along the way.
Suzie Beats
In Suzie Beats classes you will:

- practice rhythms and enjoy making sounds

- make friends and learn to love taking turns
- dance and develop balance and hand/eye coordination
- start with eye-tracking and work towards full action songs

About the class
“Suzie Beats is my class for 0-3 year olds. The first 5 years of a child’s life is fundamentally important… and the first 3 years are the most critical in shaping the child’s architecture.
I design my classes as theatrical learning experiences for you to enjoy with your little ones. They are entertaining sing along adventures with Beatie and me, and each class covers a different learning theme or topic for you to enjoy.
Classes start with a rhythm welcome chant and song to warm us up ready for our adventure. We then enjoy a range of sing along learning songs to suit the theme of the class celebrating our achievements along the way. I encourage you to move with your little ones and embrace the musical rhythms, especially when we are marching. You can also enjoy using instruments and explore making sounds with me.
I give suggestions for different ways you can participate to suit your child’s abilities, and I always encourage grown-ups to sing out nice and loud! After all, your voice is more familiar and it's super comforting and reassuring for your little ones to hear. It will certainly add to their enjoyment and development hearing you join in.
We end each class with a relaxation song or a guided meditation and finish with a goodbye song.
For some extra feel-good and well-being magic I include sprinkles of pre-school yoga, which are optional. You may like to enjoy a few poses yourself as your little one enjoys watching and learning from you, or you may find as your little one gets older that you can enjoy weaving these poses into your learning adventures side by side and together."

Babes in arms will benefit from the musical rhythms and creative movement of the class and the vibrations of their grown-ups reassuring voices…. you’ll be amazed at how quickly they become familiar with and start responding to the class instructions.
And For walkers to age 3, the classes are upbeat and full of catchy songs and actions making learning super fun for you all… you’ll most definitely find our songs weave their way into your after-class playtime and bedtime song requests.

Farm Adventure
Join Suzie & Beatie on an adventure to Old MacDonald’s Farm. This adventure starts with a drive in the countryside where we enjoy hopping with rabbits, galloping with horses and driving tractors! At the farm we meet a cow, a pig and a chicken in this class and practice counting to five with a funky Five Little Pigs song! This class also includes a fun song about washing your hands!
Dinosaur Adventure
Join Suzie and Beatie for an adventure to Dinosaur land! This is an active adventure and starts off with one of our all-time favourite warm up songs, Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes! We celebrate arriving in Dino land with a dino song before using our learning cards to learn about the dinosaurs and practice moving like them in our action songs. We enjoy some dino stomping to music with our instruments before practicing counting to 5. Beatie finds 5 baby dinosaur eggs in a cave and we sing about the 5 little dinosaurs as we wiggle our fingers… The search continues for big dinosaurs, but will we find any before it's time to float home in our bubbles?
Walking on the Beach
Join Suzie and Beatie for a sunny Beach Adventure! We start this class singing ourselves happy and well with a magical well-being song. We then walk, skip, stomp and jump along the beach meeting a starfish, a jellyfish, a crab, a dolphin, and a shark. After a beach march we learn how to sail on the sea with our favourite boat rowing song and then we float over the big blue sea all the way home in our Suzie Beats bubbles.
Walking in the Forest
Join Suzie & Beatie for a nature adventure in the forest. We start this adventure by shaking away our sillies and jumping our grumpies out making sure everyone is ready for a happy time. We walk, march, skip, stomp and jump through the forest and along the way we meet a snail, a squirrel, a fox and a bunny. After a woodland march we learn how to sing the famous forest frog song and then we practice being sleeping bunnies. This class finishes with learning how to clap to a 3-beat rhythm before floating home in our Suzie Beats bubbles!
Three Little Pigs
Join Suzie & Beatie for a springtime adventure. There are lots of baby animals to learn about and we enjoy a walk to Old MacDonald’s farm and make the sounds of some of our favourite animals too. This is a story class and brings to life The Three Little Pigs story. You can enjoy mountain walking, riding a bicycle and driving in your yoga car in this class.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Join Suzie & Beatie for a sing along adventure in the woods. We enjoy practicing our walking, skipping, hopping, and jumping as we meet some forest animals. After a musical march around the forest looking for bears, we stumble across Goldilocks and we bring her story to life through pictures and yoga. We also practice telling stories with pictures which you can enjoy joining in with at home with the optional activity sheet for this class. The porridge smells so tasty and provides a nice natural invitation for some deep breathing exercise throughout this class as well as our usual bubble relaxation song at the end of the class.
Walking in the Snow
Join Dante, Suzie & Beatie on an adventure to Snow Land! After a fun warm up we practice walking, skipping, stomping and jumping in the snow. We meet a reindeer, a polar bear, an arctic wolf and after marching together in the snow we learn a magical snowman dance.
The Ugly Duckling
Join Suzie & Beatie for an adventure on the pond. After a drive in the countryside in our Yoga adventure cars, this story class brings to life The Ugly Duckling Story. You will enjoy rolling around pretending to be eggs at the beginning of this class followed by a counting ducks song. In this class you will learn cat pose and swan pose before floating home in your relaxation bubbles.

We look forward to seeing what amazing and interactive and mindful drama and yoga based activities Suzie has cooked up each week. We particularly like the "Jump the Grumpies" out song and it has definitely come in handy on occasion. We also use the breathing the feather exercise to help us calm down at bedtime.
Rising Stars never ceases to amaze any of us. Suzie's creativity is infinite. Suzie needs her own TV show!

We are loving Suzie Beats at home! It works really well for us. Finn's face when Beatie comes on the screen is brilliant! The live interaction is great. During lockdown, it's nice to have something to aim for in the day and to see some faces. I also love the fact that I can join the afternoon session if naps don't work out. We've also enjoyed the pre-recorded ones with Eddie. It's nice that the boys can watch it and join in together and it can be paused for snacks/wee break / whatever other toddler distraction there is!
