A year of magical moments...
Wow! What a year we’ve had here at Enchantica’s. We’ve been honoured to be invited to spread our magic and help people to shine bright throughout the year. Here are just some of our many 2023 highlights…
Fundraising Ball
Back in March 2023, we held a masked ball to raise funds for the Oatland Infant's new playground fund. Ticket sales, a charity auction and raffle raised over £6000 towards the new playground which is now complete and being enjoyed by the pupils all year round!
Sing-Play-Craft
We launched a brand new class making use of our new toddler's softplay frame. Aimed at pre-schoolers and their grown ups, these classes include a singalong with Beatie, free play our our softplay, and a craft activity linked to the theme of the week. The grown ups also get to socialise with others and enjoy a free herbal tea too!
We were thrilled how popular these classes were and are continuing them into 2024. Sing-Play-Craft sessions run on Monday mornings during term time and can be booked, along with our Suzie Beats classes, here:
Adult Yoga Magic
After the success of Enchantica's story yoga sessions for families and the many requests from the grown ups to offer an adult only version, Suzie's Adult Yoga Magic was born! As a qualified yoga teaching, and having recently completed her Gopala Yoga Teacher year-long training programme, Suzie now offers adult yoga sessions during term time for anyone wanting to unwind and refresh.

Springtime Live
One of our favourite events of the yearly calendar, it's a chance for Mr & Mrs Easter Bunny and the Enchantica's fairies to come out, meet and entertain a whole host of young children and families and celebrate spring!
A Celebration of Fashion
We had a fantastic time hosting the Harrogate BID's Celebration of Fashion show with Anna Spreckley and Scott Campbell. We also helped out coordinating all the different businesses and their runway appearances, as well as organising two competitions which saw budding designers being given the chance to show off their designs, plus a charity shop challenge where teams from local businesses sourced amazing creations from local charity shops.
Tockwith Show
Our story-telling scarecrows got busy keeping young and old entertained at the Tockwith Show this year!
Great Yorkshire Show
Once again we took our fairy garden and pirate softplay to the Discovery Zone at the Great Yorkshire Show to delight pre-schoolers with some Enchantica's magic and adventure!
Family Story Yoga
Whatever the weather, our family story yoga sessions during the school holidays at Harlow Carr were once again a big hit with all who joined us. We were also thrilled to be delighted to delivery story yoga at David Lloyd and other events throughout the year.
Pop Up Party!
We were thrilled to be invited to host the Pop Up Party this summer at Ripon Spa Gardens! Crowds got to enjoy circus skills, juggling and singalongs, plus family rave sessions and high vibe tunes from DJ Dent and DJ Rory Hoy.
Festivals
If you caught us at Deershed, This is Me Festival of any of the other events we were invited to attend this year, we hope you had a great time with our DJs, entertainment and story yoga sessions too!
More Parties!
Talking of parties, we were invited to host a fantastic array of celebrations this year, from weddings and bat mitzvas to special birthday parties for all ages. Our team got to put on a fantastic show and transform venues into magical locations for party goers to enjoy.

We always love taking our magic to Grantley Hall - it's a fantastic venue and perfect as the backdrop for so many magical themes and celebrations, especially weddings!
Well-being parties
Sometimes the birthday girl or boy just wants to chill out with their close friends. Here at Enchantica's, our well-being slumber parties offer just that. We've enjoyed putting on a range of different themed chill-out parties for tweens and teens this year.
Themed parties
We also had great fun with all sorts of themes, especially this safari adventure party!
Mr Fox.
Mr Fox and friends made an appearance at the Great Holiday Homes Show this year on their woodland detective walks, delighting all who stopped by to join in the fun!
Garden Detectives
Each half-term break, as well as throughout the summer, our team of Garden Detectives were out and above causing mischief at Harlow Carr on their adventure walks. We especially loved our magical floating halloween hat tree this year!
Harrogate Christmas Fayre
And then, all too soon, it was Christmas! As well as organising the community entertainment programme for the market again this year, we took Harrogate's favourite Father Christmas on the Christmas bus and surprised a few unsuspecting passengers!

We were thrilled to be finalists in both the Harrogate Advertiser Business Excellence Awards and the Harrogate Mumbler Awards, receiving a 'Highly Commended' Award for The Harrogate Father Christmas Experience...
Harrogate Father Christmas Experience
Now in its third year, the Harrogate Father Christmas Experience was bigger and better than ever before. With 30 of our shows SOLD OUT, we delighted over 3000 believers with the magic of Christmas, including the addition of the magical wishing tree and Beatie's Christmas Song.

As well as our public Christmas shows, we were also fortunate to be able to put on some funding shows thanks to the generosity of our Christmas sponsors. Schoolchildren, families from The Unity and older members of the community through Harrogate Neighbours all got to enjoy some Christmas cheer thanks to donations from local businesses.
