Families are invited to @ruddingholidaypark this weekend for swordplay and archery experiences.

Tickets are for children from age 6 + and accompanying adult and provide a super fun way to learn something new and bond with your kid’s this summer.

Swordplay Workshop 

Learn how to sword fight following the safe, expert guidance of our combat instructors. During this workshop you will learn about how people used swords hundreds of years ago and you will also get a chance to practice what you have learned with your partner. After this workshop you will have enjoyed an introduction to a range of sword techniques and you will be able to have a go at fighting a duel which you can film for prosterity.

* Duration: 60 minutes
* Minimum age 10 years
* This is an activity for 2 people and requires one adult over 18 and one child of 10 years + to complete the pair.
* If you would like to film your skills please bring a phone or device with you on the day.
* £36 per pair

Have a go swashbuckling- 
An introduction to sword play.

Get moving with this lighthearted introduction to swordplay. This workshop is designed to allow younger guests to enjoy a safe introduction to swordplay with their accompanying adult. Enjoy learning lots of interesting historical facts about how people used swords hundreds of years ago and learn some basic techniques from our expert instructors. You will be able to practice some of the things you have learned under the safe guidance of our instructors with your partner.

* Duration: 30 minutes
* Minimum age 6 years
* This is an activity for 2 people and requires one adult over 18 and one child of 6 years + to complete the pair.
* £20 per pair.

Archery “LUCKY SHOT” Competition

Join us for the Rudding Park archery competition! 
Archery is the sport of using a bow to shoot arrows and if your shot is the best you will be our champion! Meet our expert marksman for some guidance on how to draw, aim and release and see if you can be our “lucky shot” winner of the day.

* Time 5-6:30pm
* Minimum age 6 
* Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
* Cost £4.50 for 12 arrows
